Baker McKenzie Italy supported Planzer in the acquisition of the transport and logistics division of Sifte Berti SpA. Planzer is an international group operating in the transport and warehouse logistics sectors, and Sifte Berti is a company that has been in business for 55 years. Baker McKenzie backed Planzer with a team led by partner Paolo Ghiglione, assisted by associates Giacomo Lamperti and Anna Masutti on the M&A aspects of the deal. Counsel Mario Cigno and associate Amalia Serena Scimè handled the regulatory and environmental aspects; partner Serena Fantinelli and associate Nicolò Crespi handled the labor law aspects.
De Luca Advisory AG acted as General Coordinator and Lead Financial Advisor, and it was responsible for structuring the agreement for the buyer. SCTS Studio Tributario e Societario assisted the buyer with the tax aspects of the transaction with partner Antonio Zambon.
